Practical Restorative Dentistry in Focus: i-dental Hands-on Training with Dr. Povilas Kalesinskas

Recently, i-dental welcomed dental professionals to a series of Hands-On training sessions dedicated to restorative dentistry and practical clinical workflows.

Led by Dr. Povilas Kalesinskas the training combined scientific rationale, clinical experience and practical application of restorative materials used in everyday dentistry.

The educational program began with an introduction to i-dental, providing participants with insights into the company’s manufacturing capabilities, quality standards and ongoing product development activities. Particular attention was given to the process of developing dental materials and the challenges involved in bringing reliable restorative solutions to the market.

The practical part of the training focused on direct restorative procedures, allowing participants to work with a selection of i-dental materials in simulated clinical situations. A key highlight of the sessions was the opportunity to evaluate i-ROCK®, the latest addition to the i-dental restorative portfolio.

Participants explored the handling characteristics of restorative materials, discussed layering approaches, adaptation techniques and practical considerations that influence everyday clinical outcomes. Throughout the training, Dr. Kalesinskas shared evidence-based recommendations and practical insights gained from daily clinical practice.
